Airflow indicators installed by AES

When a Foundry was reviewing its risk assessments and procedures in relation to the COSHH regulation AES was commissioned to provide advice and support. AES identified that, although LEV testing was being carried out annually, the company was potentially in breach of the COSHH regulations as the systems were not being checked weekly and the users did not have any indication as to whether the systems were protecting their health throughout the year.

To address this, AES supplied the client with logbooks for each system containing lists of daily and weekly checks for the system and installed airflow indicators so that the machine operators could see at a glance whether they systems were performing as intended.
