Frequently asked questions

Q.Do I need to get my LEV system tested?

Yes. All LEV systems under the HSG 258 guidance by the HSE state that a Thorough Examination and Test of an LEV systems must be carried out at least once in every 14 month period.

Q.Should my LEV system be commissioned?

Yes, an LEV system should be commissioned in accordance with the HSG 258 guidance and the COSHH regulations by a competent engineer with a commissioning report and LEV log book provided for each system.
