Nederman Filtermax C25 installed at the new Historic Scotland training centre

Following the installation of LEV systems for Historic Scotland at their new training centre, AES have successfully installed a new extraction system for stone dust at one of their local sites. The system consists of a Nederman Filtermax C25 freestanding filter unit with built in fan incorporating an automatic compressed air cleaning system.

Stone dust contains Respirable Crystalling Silica (RCS), extensive or prolonged exposure to Silica dust is known to cause a debilitating lung disease called Silicosis. The new extraction system will help to protect employees and allow Historic Scotland to meet their responsibilities under the COSHH 2002 regulations.
