A truly bespoke project, this client required a custom LEV system operations including hood design, ducting and remote movement control. Our installation team delivered this project within a short space of time which did not interfere with the client’s production schedule, providing efficient and effective extraction at the source of emissions on this production line.
AES have recently completed the design and installation of a new fume extraction system for one of our clients in the oil industry. The process is an extrusion line which produces an oily condensing fume from a plastic extrusion process.
This project has stretched the creative minds of our design team and we’ve constructed a number of motorised canopy hoods on boom arms which allow the production operatives to move the hoods into position and them lower them so that the fumes are captured. All of these movements can be completed through an intelligent remote control interface without interfering with surrounding machinery or operations.
The system contains a series of oil-mist filters which will trap and condense the fume given off by the process. The filtered air is then discharged externally through our carefully designed ducting network.
Our agile nature and willingness to provide total solutions for our customers was at the forefront of this project. Due to the demands of the production process, the time available for installation was limited. The entire installation in the pictures was completed in two days by a team of 12 of our engineers working from 7am to 8pm!
AES have the ability to provide a total turn key solution for production processes within the petrochemical and energy sector with our dedicated, internally recruited team of design and installation engineers.
