Why Use an F Monitor or Airflow Indicator?
One requirement of the COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) Regulations in the United Kingdom is that workers disclose any flaws in an extraction system “forthwith.” An airflow indicator or F Monitor makes it simple for machine operators to see whether the extraction system has any problems, such as a duct blockage or filters that need to be changed.
Keep an eye on your Filtermist oil mist collector with the updated F Monitor. Filtermist’s F Monitor 2 & 2+ warns machine operators when an oil mist collector requires maintenance using a well-established traffic light system of coloured warning lights.
Time and airflow are measured with the F Monitor 2 and 2+. Featuring the added ability to analyse vibration and motor temperature, the F Monitor 2+ makes it even simpler to determine when your Filtermist machine requires maintenance.
Thanks to its Bluetooth connectivity, the new F Monitor 2 & 2+ connects to a specific app on a tablet or smartphone. The app makes it simple for the user to modify the temperature, vibration, airflow, and time parameters to fit specific needs.
In relation to the parameters established at the installation site, the monitor continuously monitors temperature, vibration, time, and airflow. The lights remain green if everything was operating as planned when the unit was installed. Depending on the magnitude of the change, every alteration to these variations causes a colour shift to either amber or red.
