The plug & play filter tower for room air extraction with minimal space requirements

The NOVUS Airtower compact filters aerosols, industrial dust and smoke. The small form-factor of this compact unit has reduced the footprint and overall size so that it can be quickly set up as a plug & play device in a production room or mounted on a wall.

Function

An all-round efficient structure

The Airtower compact works with a one to four-stage filter process. In the first filter bag, the incoming room air flow is filtered safely, economically and is microbiologically inactive. The second filter stage can be selected to suit smoke, dust and aerosols in various qualities. In the case of welding smoke applications, this is also preceded by a metal knitted fabric pre-filter. Finally, the filter mats ensure that the purified air is returned without any drafts to disturb the ambient air.

Equipped with an energy  efficient EC fan, the Airtower compact can be operated with a nominal volume flow of 4,250 m 3/h or 3,400 m 3/h. If there is no installation space available, the compact system can also be mounted on the wall.

Air Recirculation

Adapted as required – diffuse or pipeline

AES currently offer the Airtower compact with two variants of air return so that the room extraction can be adapted as flexibly as possible to the needs of our customers:

If the installation height is low, the air can be diffused back into the room via the outlet openings in the lower module.

By connecting a pipe on the clean air side, a greater installation height as well as needs-based and precise air return can be achieved. Up to three pipe connections can be fitted for this. The supply air flow can be controlled by means of valves.

Filter

Equipped for every situation

Thanks to its minimalist structure, the Airtower compact can be adapted to new requirements in a very short time. The main filter can be exchanged flexibly by skilled personnel, so that the Airtower compact can basically be equipped for any situation.

In addition, the narrow filter tower can be equipped with an H14 particulate filter so that nanoscale particles such as bacteria and pollen are effectively filtered from the room air with a degree of separation of 99.995%.

The Novus Airtower Range

A strong series

Welding, sawing, milling – work is seldom carried out at the same working height or generally at the same workplace. An effective extraction system must therefore be one thing above all: flexible. This is the strength of the NOVUS Airtower series. All products in this series are ideal extraction solutions when local extraction at the emission source cannot be implemented or as a supplementary addition to source extraction
