AES can provide full department design services for all educational establishments. We have over 18 years’ consultation experience with teachers, business managers, local authorities and main contractors in the design of full CDT departments.

Our process is unique, we work closely with the end user, architects, main contractors and local authority to make sure your department design meets the requirements of the curriculum and needs for all staff and students.

AES offers a full LEV system design service. All of our design engineers are qualified to the BOHS accredited P602 standard in Local Exhaust Ventilation design.

Following your initial enquiry, one of our experienced team will carry out a site visit and provide you with advice including a range of options available to meet your needs and budget. Our in-house design team will provide an AutoCAD design for your approval before the installation commences. Following the installation, we will commission the system in accordance with HSG 258 and provide a user manual and logbook.

With all projects, we have our dedicated project management and installation team. Our projects department carry out full fit-outs of multiple room departments throughout the UK and work to provide our clients with completed departments on-time and in full.

The COSHH regulations 2002 state that all Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) systems require to be maintained in an efficient state, in good repair, and tested at least every 14 months. In education, this means that, in addition to having your LEV systems tested, you must ensure that you have procedures in place to carry out regular maintenance checks and that these are documented.

AES can support you in complying with every requirement of the COSHH Regulations 2002 including LEV testing (also known as a COSHH test or Thorough Examination and Test). Our services are available in Scotland and throughout the UK. In addition, we can repair or replace your LEV system should it be required.
